The Office of Undergraduate Admission evaluates all first-year applicants for undergraduate admission to Case Western Reserve University for several scholarships. Additional scholarships offered by CWRU require specific residency requirements, an additional application, essay or other information.

Scholarships are awarded by the Office of Undergraduate Admission using multiple criteria, including:

  • Academic achievement
  • Performance on standardized tests
  • Leadership
  • Artistic talent
  • Other personal qualities that distinguish students in the applicant pool

All U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents of the United States who apply for first-year undergraduate admission to Case Western Reserve University are considered for certain scholarships.

Case Western Reserve offers a select number of scholarships, including full-tuition awards, that require applicants to provide additional information and respond to an essay prompt.

As part of our continuing commitment to students in our own community, Case Western Reserve makes several scholarship opportunities available to students in Cleveland and East Cleveland.
